A motorist was injured in a single-vehicle crash today on the rain-soaked Golden State (5) Freeway in Sun Valley, a fire official said.
Firefighters and paramedics were dispatched to the scene on the northbound freeway at Sheldon Street at 9:10 a.m., where the motorist reportedly crashed into a tree, said Erik Scott of the Los Angeles City Fire Department.
Paramedics rushed the man to Providence Holy Cross Medical Center, according to sources at the scene. The medical condition of the man was not immediately known.
