Valentine's Day is on the horizon. If you don't have any solid plans in place, why not invite a new love interest out for a casual cup of joe?

The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf is offering a two-for-one Valentine's Day special on Tuesday, Feb. 14. Simply buy one drink and the second one (at equal or lesser value) is free. 

Coffee Bean recently held a Valentine's Day Facebook poll and discovered that 34 percent of first-time daters would prefer to meet at a coffee shop to have peace and quiet while engaging in quality conversation.

Twenty-four percent of respondents said they'd choose a coffee shop so they could have a quick date and end it early if necessary—no need to fork over big bucks for a date going awry! For a comfortable setting with no pressure, 25 percent said they'd choose a coffee shop on a first date.

There are three Coffee Beans in North Hollywood and Toluca Lake to choose from:

There are also three Coffee Beans nearby in Studio City, as well as one in Sherman Oaks.

Before it's too late, ask out that cute neighbor who lives down the street or the Trader Joe's check-out guy who always puts a smile on your face. It doesn't even have to be a date, per se, just a chance for some coffee and conversation.
