County Worker Driving Government Truck Arrested in Prostitution Sting on Lankershim Blvd.

A Los Angeles County Department of Public Works employee was arrested last Thursday during a police sting targeting prostitution along Lankershim Boulevard in Sun Valley, according to the Los Angeles Daily News.
Mitchell Tharp, 49, who oversees graffiti removal contractors, was arrested for soliciting an act of prostitution, according to to the report, which also said Tharp was on duty and driving a county-owned truck when he was arrested.
Prostitution along Lankershim Boulevard in Sun Valley and North Hollywood has been a long-term problem, and some feel it is getting worse. The LAPD has implemented undercover operations in the area before, such as the one Patch followed on the police scanner and reported on in August.

Don't the police have better things to do with there time??? Prositution has been around for thousands of years and will contunue for thousands more. Go after some REAL bad guys. What a waiste for money for Californians!!
