LAFD Extinguishes Condo Fire
The blaze was on the same block where a little over a year ago firefighters responded to a large fire.
At approximately 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, a fire broke out at 11134 Arminta St. in Sun Valley, near the border with North Hollywood. The LAFD believes the fire started in unit #101, a bottom floor apartment of a two-story, multi-unit complex.

Firefighters quickly extinguished a fire in a two-story condominium in Sun Valley at 11107 Arminta St., the Los Angeles Fire Department's Erik Scott said. The 5:15 p.m. blaze might have started in a clothes dryer, he said.
The blaze was on the same block where a little over a year ago firefighters responded to a large fire at 11134 Arminta St. on Jan. 7, 2011.
