LAFD Extinguishes Condo Fire

The blaze was on the same block where a little over a year ago firefighters responded to a large fire.

Firefighters quickly extinguished a fire in a two-story condominium in Sun Valley at 11107 Arminta St., the Los Angeles Fire Department's Erik Scott said. The 5:15 p.m. blaze might have started in a clothes dryer, he said.

The blaze was on the same block where a little over a year ago firefighters responded to a large fire at 11134 Arminta St. on Jan. 7, 2011.

Patch reporter Anthony Pardines was at the scene of that fire and took some dramatic photos. See the attached photo or the original story here.
