Good Samaritan Saves Trapped Man from Burning Car

A man trapped in his burning car after a rollover crash in Sun Valley was saved Saturday by a good Samaritan who pulled over and used a fire extinguisher to douse the flames.
The crash at Lankershim Boulevard and Webb Avenue happened around 4 a.m., a Los Angeles police officer with the West Traffic Division said.
The apparently hit a pole and overturned, trapping the driver inside, an RMG News videographer at the scene said.

As the car started to burn, a woman who works for the city Department of Water and Power stopped, pulled an extinguisher from her department truck and snuffed out the fire, the photographer said.
The driver was taken to a hospital, he said.
