Our old About Town writer Tiffany Kelly visited the store in 2010 and :

Like environmental laws in California, it's hard to be green without paying for it. A facial scrub made from vegetables is $18, and a vegan diaper messenger bag is $150. T-shirts are made from hemp and pet toys are organic. There are all-purpose cleaners, dishwashing detergents and garbage bags, all good. A recycled substitute awaits any household product you once used before you cared about the environment. Purchasing all of your toiletries and accessories at Green and Greener is the equivalent to receiving a report card with all A's and patting yourself on the back for good measure.

Ramos says there will be great deals all month for their going-out-of-business sale.
