No Serious Injuries in Sun Valley Crash

A rollover sparks a collision, but victims are treated for non-life threatening injuries.

Five people were hurt in two-vehicle crash Sunday night on the Golden State (5) Freeway in Sun Valley, a city fire official said.

The crash was reported at 7:15 p.m. on the northbound 5 at Sheldon Street, according to Erik Scott of the Los Angeles Fire Department.

One vehicle rolled over in the collision, Scott said, but five people who initially were trapped were able to escape.

The victims were evaluated at the scene for non-life threatening injuries, Scott said.
