NoHo Crime Blotter: Assaults and Thefts from Vehicles

More than 100 crimes are reported in the NoHo Arts District in the last two weeks of April.

The second half of April saw 104 property crimes reported in the NoHo Arts District as well as 18 violent crimes, according to L.A. Times' crime map.

Vehicle thefts continue be among the most commonly reported incidents, which officers say can mostly be prevented by following a simple strategy: "lock it, hide it, keep it."

That's a message LAPD's North Hollywood Division constantly relays on its Facebook page.
