To be honest, I had to think a bit about the usage before I came up with my examples. After IRead More thought on the subject a while, I realized what meaning they were going for. The continuous checking that happens, and the car rides where everyone but the driver is "immersed in internet technology"... Let's just say that it makes sense after a while.

After some thought, I realize that digin could be considered a contraction for digging in, as in I'mRead More digging in to my research. It seems a logical contraction, but I still feel it's too close to the name of the website Digg.
