What's Up?: Healthcare Event for Seniors, Jazz at Bob's Espresso and More

1: EngAGE, a nonprofit organization providing life-enhancing programs to active-aging apartment communities, will partner with the Actors Fund and Covered California to present an information workshop on the new health care provisions for actors, artists and the general public to be held at the NoHo Senior Arts 
Colony, an arts-focused apartment community for adults age 62+. Event is free and starts at 4:30 p.m. NoHo Senior Arts Colony, 10747 Magnolia Blvd.

2: Jazz group the Silver Lake Trio will play their free weekly show starting at 8 p.m. at Bob's Espresso Bar. 5251 Lankershim Blvd.

3: NoHo resident and pianist Randy Emata will be performing in the back lounge of the Federal Bar. He specializes in playing the smoother groovier side of jazz/R&B/pop along with Michael Reason on drums and William Matthew Taylor on bass. Show is free and starts at 8 p.m. 5303 Lankershim Blvd.

4: It's open mic night for aspiring and amateur comedians at The Other Door bar from 7-11 p.m. 10437 Burbank Blvd.

5: There's a 30 percent chance for showers today with a high of 63, according to the National Weather Service.
