Special Olympics Santa Clarita & Tri-Valley hosts World's Largest Bunco Tournament to support local athletes

Special Olympics Santa Clarita & Tri-Valley will host the World’s Largest Bunco Tournament on Saturday, July 27, 2013 at 3:30pm to support local athletes.  This event, which will be held at the Main Gym at the College of the Canyons, will help fund year-round sports training and competition in a variety of Olympic-type sports for children and adults with intellectual disabilities.

The World’s Largest Bunco Tournament is one of Special Olympics Santa Clarita & Tri-Valley’s fundraising events.  The Luau-themed evening will consist of dinner, a silent auction and prizes for our Bunco players.  Raffle tickets will be available to purchase for a chance to win a variety of prizes.  Tickets for the event are $35 per person and $40 after July 8, 2013.  All proceeds will benefit Special Olympics Santa Clarita & Tri-Valley athletes.

“This is an outstanding opportunity for the community to come together and support a great cause,” said Mark McCorkle, Bunco Committee Chair.  “Bunco is a fun game anyone can play with no experience.  Bottom line, we’re helping some terrific athletes and setting the World’s record.”
