5 Things: Neighborhood Council Meets; Job Openings for Teachers

1: The board of directors of the North Hollywood North East Neighborhood Council meets at 6:40 p.m. for its monthly meeting. On the agenda: a presentation by Save Coldwater Canyon and plans for a cleanup Aug. 3 around Laurel Canyon and Sherman Way. The meeting is being held at LAFD Station #89 community room, 7063 Laurel Canyon Blvd. Click here to read more about the meeting.

2: Don't forget! There will be a free screening of Wreck It Ralph this Saturday at Colfax Charter Elementary School at 8:15 p.m. Doors open at 6 p.m.
