Man Suspected of Sexually Assaulting Women in North Hollywood Arrested

A North Hollywood man suspected of grabbing victims' buttocks and exposing himself to them on multiple occurrences in the area has been arrested, according to Los Angeles Police Department detectives.

Between June and October, Irvine Perez, 30, allegedly drove around North Hollywood in a grey 2006 Nissan Xterra targeting females between the ages of 15-27 who were walking alone in the street, according to an LAPD statement.

"The suspect would walk up to these females and grab their buttocks with his hand and run off," the statement read.

In another instance, the Perez allegedly chased a 17-year-old girl and tried to kidnap her. He also reportedly exposed himself to a teenager and grabbed the arm and buttocks of a 15-year-old girl, the police department said.

Perez is a sex offender and was convicted for a series of sexual assaults in the San Fernando Valley between 2006-07.

He has already bailed out on $400,000 and is due in court in December, detectives said.

Police believe there could be more victims and are asking them to come forward.
