Burbank Ice Skating Rink Opens for Winter Fun

The rink is open daily through early January 2014.

It's safe to predict a sunny, yet cool December for SoCal as usual, but that doesn't mean a favorite wintertime activity can't be enjoyed.

Burbank has opened an ice skating rink behind its city hall that will remain open daily until Jan. 5.

"This is like Rockefeller Center now,” Burbank resident Masiss Andriasian told the Burbank Leader.

Hours vary, but the rink is open from morning to evening with a few late night sessions planned throughout the month. Click here for the full schedule.

General admission is $10, skate rentals cost $3 and Bobby the Seal Skating Aid is $6

Signing a waiver is also required to skate.

Skaters of all levels and ages are welcome.
