Children's Autism Clinic Opens on Riverside Drive

Houston-based Shape of Behavior, a health clinic for children with autism and other developmental delays, opened a North Hollywood office over the summer in at 10623 Riverside Dr.

The center occupies a two-story, six-room building and specializes in applied behavior analysis therapy and health and behavior intervention for youngsters suffering from autism.

"The Shape offers a full-time in clinic day treatment program geared toward teaching essential skills including play skills, social skills and life skills," said Audrey Borges, one of the clinic's therapists. "Both one on one and group therapy are used to achieve individual goals."

Borges said she would like to expand to other parts of Los Angeles but looks forward to aiding families in the San Fernando Valley.
