Cyclists Ride to Remember Hit-and-Run Victim

About 50 cyclists rode silently through Valley Glen Wednesday afternoon in remembrance of a local high school student who was a fatal victim of a hit-and-run in March.

David Alexander Granados, a senior at Grant High School, died a few days after he was hit by a vehicle while riding his bike along Oxnard Street and Bellaire Avenue.

Some of his friends as well as cycling advocates participated in the 45-minute ride through the neighborhood.

A reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest of the alleged hit-and-run driver.
