A Sun Valley-based Fix Nation offers free cat spaying/neutering for local feline owners thanks a partnership with the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA).
The offer is available to cat owners that live in the following zip codes: 91342, 91331, 91605, 91402, 91606, 91352, 91504.
Also to be eligible, a pet's master must have an annual income of $40,000 or less. Appointments can be made by calling 818-524-2287. Operations are done between 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Wednesdays through Saturdays.
Cats must be dropped off between 7-8:30 a.m. for surgery.
