Sun Valley Graffiti Busters Strike Again With Street Cleanups

Sun Vally litter, your days are numbered.

The beautification team known as the Sun Valley Graffiti Busters have been on a mission since April have since removed 225 tons of bulky items from streets in the area.

"Last week, the group removed 53 bags of weeds and debris and took away a truck load of green tumble weed during a clean-up effort along San Fernando Road between North Hollywood Way and Arcola Avenue in Sun Valley," read a writeup in LA City Councilman Paul Krekorian's newsletter.

And let's not forget that graffiti and weed abatement are also passions of the volunteer group.

The North Hollywood West Neighborhood Council also got their hands dirty recently by cleaning up along Coldwater Canyon Boulevard between Sherman Way and Raymer Street with help from some North Hollywood High Students.
