What's Going on at this North Hollywood Home?

A lot of people are going to get to see this house without leaving their own home.

It might look like a boring old renovation job, but a house on Emelita Street near Vineland Avenue is gearing up to make an appearance on national television.

Also, most remodeling jobs don't call for street closures to residential traffic and a ton of temporary "no parking" signs being hung up everywhere.

The home will be one of the entries to be featured on the debut season of NBC's American Dream Builders, a reality show where designers, builders, architects and landscapers go head to head weekly and vie for the positive judging of Nate Berkus.

A police officer acting as security at the scene said remodeling work should last for about another week.

The show is expected to premiere sometime during the 2013-14 season and air on Sunday nights, but a series premiere date has yet to be set.
