In this hilarious spoof video, watch as new subtitles are imposed over a scene from the 2004 film Downfall. (Warning, there is explicit language in the scene.)
It's been a grand Internet tradition the last few years to create new subtitles from the famous "rant" scene and many amateur comedians have taken their turn. Everything from the real estate market crash of 2008 to the Tonight Show Jay Leno/Conan O'Brien controversy has gotten the treatment in recent years. It's unclear how many Downfall parodies are out there, but there are many, and some publications have estimated there are thousands. The Telegraph has 25 parodies of the scene posted.
The parodies have all happened with the blessing of the film's director, who said he thinks they are funny.
And now, Hitler is very unhappy about Carmageddon ...
