Actor Jeff Garlin, arrested in Studio City on suspicion of felony vandalism in a dispute with another motorist over a parking space and released Monday, will be interviewed by city prosecutors but is not scheduled to appear in court on the matter.
The 51-year-old "Curb Your Enthusiasm" actor was arrested about 3 p.m. Saturday and spent two nights in jail in Van Nuys before posting $20,000 bail, according to the county jail's website. He was released at 7:30 a.m.

Los Angeles police Sgt. William Mann of the North Hollywood Station said Garlin was in a dispute with another motorist. TMZ.com reported Garlin smashed the windows of the other person's Mercedes-Benz.
The City Attorney's Office has decided to hold a hearing in its offices, a pre-filing option that prosecutors may exercise "when a circumstance may or may not rise to the fact of criminal action," spokesman Frank Mateljan said.

After being questioning by prosecutors, Garlin will be "advised on the law and on how to avoid these kinds of incidents in the future," Mateljan said.
The private hearing does not preclude a criminal filing, but no further action is scheduled at this time, according to Mateljan.
