Federal Bar Offers Special Menu to Fight Breast Cancer

The restaurant hosts a fundraiser lasting through Halloween.

In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the Federal Bar is donating a portion of sales from a special dish and dessert menu to the City of Hope.

Ten percent of the sales from two dinner items and a dessert will be passed on to charity, while half of the proceeds from a strawberry shortcake shake is heading to City of Hope.

The fundraiser lasts through Oct. 31.

Breast Cancer Menu:

The Very Breast Pizza, $11

Grilled chicken breast, goat cheese, caramelized onions, strawberry jam drizzle and arugula.

Razzel Dazzel Salad, $11

Spinach, feta cheese, grilled and marinated Portobello, toasted almonds and raspberry vinaigrette. (The salad and pizza are only available on the dinner menu).

Cocoa Cripsy Treat, $8

Coco crispy with pink marshmallow and breast cancer ribbon candy.

Strawberry Shortcake Shake, $8

Pound cake, strawberries and strawberry ice cream. (Both desserts are available all day).

I've left my business card with a few construction workers but no one has gotten back to me so far. From what the workers told me, it's going to be a new restaurant. They are located near the Metro line, at 11102 Magnolia Blvd. Store Hours: Monday - Friday 11 AM -Read More 4:30 PM Thursdays 11 AM - 7 PM Saturday 11 AM - 5 PM Closed on Sundays
