27 New Homes Being Built at Vineland and Kittridge

Twenty-seven single-family homes are under construction at Vineland Avenue and Kittridge Street with a model home expected to open in February.

Spearheaded by MBK Homes, the houses will be anywhere between 1,594-1,920 square feet and include up to five bedrooms and three bathrooms.

Ground broke on the development last month. Prices are to start in the low $400,000 range.

“We are excited to begin construction at Vineland Metro and for the opportunity to introduce a completely new type of housing option to North Hollywood,” Rick Fletcher, vice president of sales and marketing told globest.com after the groundbreaking. “It’s been an enjoyable process working with the City of Los Angeles to bring this community to life. We hope it is the first of many new communities to come in the area.”  

The grand opening of the model home is on Feb. 8 from 10 a.m to 5 p.m. at 6552 Vineland Ave.

The first phrase of the project is expected to be completed by the second quarter of 2014, according to globest.com.
