ACME Comedy Sign Pops Up in Arts District

It looks as though the Hollywood comedy club is opening a location in NoHo.

Hollywood-based ACME Comedy Theatre appears to be opening a new location in the NoHo Arts District.

A marquee recently went up for the venue at 5124 Lankershim Blvd., the former site of the Sanford Meisner Center, an acting studio.

But it's unclear at this time whether the club is either moving from its current spot or opening a second one. Owner Travis Oates did not respond to e-mails for a comment.
