Animation Studio Bento Box Comes to NoHo

The production comapny that makes 'Bob's Burgers' plans to bring 150 jobs to the area.

The animation studio behind the Emmy-nominated Bob's Burgers on the Fox network and other cartoons is expanding its offices to the NoHo Arts District.

Bento Box Entertainment is moving into the bottom floor of a building at the intersection of Lankershim and Magnolia boulevards. The offices at 5161 Lankershim Blvd. were previously occupied by the Walt Disney Company.

Bento Box currently operates out of Burbank and plans to bring 150 jobs to NoHo when the move is completed by early May, said co-founder Scott Greenberg.

Because of security reasons, Greenberg says he can't reveal which show would be produced out of the local offices, but he did say he's looking forward to working in the area.

"I want to let our neighbors know we're here, it's a great neighborhood and I love supporting local vendors," Greenberg said.

Bento Box also produces Brickleberry, Out There, airing soon on IFC, and The Awesomes, which will air on Hulu this summer.
