Creole Eatery P. Gators Opening Nov. 1

The long-awaited restaurant is opening on Magnolia Boulevard inside a mixed-used complex.

P. Gators Southern Grill is opening for business on Nov. 1 at at 11049 Magnolia Blvd. A ribbon cutting will be held at 11:30 a.m.

The event was scheduled for the end of October, but some more time was needed for electrical and plumbing work, said Joe Renteria, who's handling public relations for the new business.

Once open, owner Paul Hiles said P. Gators will serve up a "healthier version" of traditional Creole dishes like mac and cheese and jambalaya.

The eatery is part of the Milano at NoHo complex, which is also home to The Sweat Shoppe and Spumante Restaurant.
