Eggnog Ice Cream at Quenelle Brings a Twist to Holiday Classic

A new ice creamery adds another unique seasonal flavor to its interesting lineup.

A Burbank ice cream artisan is taking a classic cold winter drink with a kick and making it even colder.

Ok, it makes more sense like this: the newly opened Quenelle is now serving up scoops of bourbon eggnog ice cream, writes Los Angeles Magazine.

The parlor, opened over the summer at 2214 W. Magnolia Blvd., is run by  John Park, who's led pastry operations for several Southland eateries.

LA Mag writes: "Every creamy one-gallon batch of ice cream and sorbet is prepared by hand in the small kitchen located just behind the check-out counter. The shop's footprint may be small, but Park's ice cream makes up for it with big, bold flavors."

There's usually 16 flavors available at any given time.
