Historic Klump House Sells for $1.8 M in Toluca Lake

Built in the 1920s, the property once belonged to a big-time developer.

A historic Spanish-style house in Toluca Lake that once belonged to community pioneer William Klump was sold at the end of 2012 for $1.8 million.

Built atop a knoll by the developer at 4352 Forman Ave. in 1926, the 19,000-square-foot property has five bedrooms, two bathrooms, three Batchelder fireplaces and a guest house.

According to its listing page on Redfin, the home was put on the market in July 2010. It looks like the price tag was substantially lowered as the initial asking price was $2.9 million.
