Opening Friday at The Secret Rose theater in North Hollywood is I, CALIGULA: An Insanity Musical, an original musical with book and lyrics by Kai Cofer and music/orchestrations and musical direction by Cody T. Gillette.

It's a show about a show: When a group of inmates, confined to a mental asylum, attempt to mount a musical production of the story of Caligula, mayhem ensues in the form of a comical Greek tragedy.
The cast features Kevin Dalbey, Kelly Derouin, Carissa Gipprich, Elizabeth Harmetz, Scott Levin, Meredith Overcash, Dory Schultz, and Joshua Shaw.
