A new pet shop specializing in raw dog and cat food and other accessories popped up two months ago in Valley Village.
Valley Village Pet Supply, located at 4838 Laurel Canyon Blvd., carries brands like Stella & Chewy, Sojo's and Honest Kitchen.
Garrett Cunneen, a pet lover who prior had a marketing career, is an advocate of raw foods for pets over dehydrated treats.
"It's OK to feed kibble, but if you add even a little raw food to the diet, it's even better," he said.
The business also takes orders for custom pet beds and expects to soon offer a grooming service.
Valley Village Pet Supply is open on Mondays through Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sundays.
