A seasoned theatre owner in NoHo has opened a new venue in the local Arts District.
Edmund Gaynes, owner of the Whitmore-Lindley Theatre on Magnolia Boulevard, recently took the helm of the NewPlace Studio Theatre at 10950 Peach Grove St. and renamed it the Brick House Theatre.
He bought the venue from the previous owner, who relocated to New York to focus on Broadway work.
The debut production, the comedy Dysfunctional Family Christmas, is now playing through Dec. 21. Click here for showtimes and ticketing information.
