North Hollywood Company's Contest Will Give Free Kitchen to Needy Family

Candidates can submit videos telling their story through email or mail.

in North Hollywood is giving away a free kitchen to a needy family, according to a report in the Los Angeles Daily News.

The free kitchen contest runs through the end of April, and the rules are basically that the candidates must have owned the home for a period of time and also experienced some kind of financial hardship.

"I want to find one family that is in desperate need of a kitchen. I'm pretty much trying to help somebody who needs it. It's as simple as that," said Gil Alkoby to the Daily News, which highlighted in a contest in a column on Friday.

Candidates can submit videos telling their story through email or mail. The rules will posted on the company's website when they are finalized.
