NYC Dance Studio Moving to NoHo

In addition to dance studio space, the new facility will also feature a retail shop and a cafe.

New York-based dance production company Break the Floor is in the process of relocating to an 80,000-square-foot facility at 5446 Satsuma Ave. in NoHo.

Founded in the 1999 by Gil Stroming, the studio has several focuses including dance workshops and touring theatrical productions.

"We regard this new stage to be both a strategic investment for our company and a vote of confidence in our industry," Storming wrote. "The new facility will offer fully equipped studios serving dance classes, rehearsals, castings, photo and video production, retail store, a cafe, performance space and more."

The move began Sept. 1, so no word yet on when classes would begin.
