P. Gators Construction 4-6 Weeks Away From Finishing

The Creole restaurant has been under construction for about nine months.

Construction on Creole restaurant P. Gators is about four to six weeks away from completion, though an opening date is uncertain for now, says owner Paul Hiles.

Work began nine months ago on the eatery at the ground level of the Milano at NoHo complex at 11049 Magnolia Blvd.

Progress was slow due the installation of an exhaust system that spans from the P Gators to the sixth floor, Hiles said.

He said he'll have a better idea in a few weeks of when the restaurant would open its doors.

Once in business, P. Gators will serve up a "healthier version" of traditional Creole dishes like mac and cheese and jambalaya, Hiles said.
