The Vancouver Sun recently posted a story titled "Toronado one of five made by legendary builder," about a Canadian-only Expo 67 Esso giveaway car that was discovered online and bought by a collector. The car was built decades ago by North Hollywood's legendary car customizer George Barris, builder of the Batmobile, Munster Koach and Drag-u-la.
The story is a fascinating look into the car collecting culture and how pretty much anything Barris has laid his hands on has become a coveted collectible. Read the full story here.
