Valley Village's Chiangsan Thai Reopens Aug. 9

A fixture in Valley Village since 1988, Chiangsan Thai plans on reopening Aug. 9 after more than two months of remodeling.

The announcement was made on the eatery's Facebook page when a dozen or so hungry fans craving some pad woo sen or spicy gapow fried rice posted queries about the remodel's progress.

"We would like to thank everyone for continuing to support us," the announcement read. "This remodel took longer than expected due to unexpected fixes that needed to be addressed and backordered equipment and furniture. I guess it comes with the territory, lessons learned. We are pretty pleased with how everything turned out and very excited for everyone to join us on AUGUST 9!"

In honor of the grand reopening, Chiangsan Thai will mark off 15 percent all checks during August.

The restaurant has garnered four stars out of five on Yelp based on 52 reviews.
