What Should Replace NE1 Skateboard Shop?

The apparel store opened earlier this year and closed about a month ago.

As Patch reported earlier this month, NE1 Skateboard Shop recently closed on Magnolia Boulevard in the NoHo Arts District.

The apparel store was nestled between a few eateries including Republic of Pie.

A "for lease" sign is up with no takers yet, so what do you think should replace the shuttered store? Is another restaurant the right choice or could that stretch of Magnolia benefit from something else?

How about a Pho place or a Yogurtland?

Loving the art deco theme of the outside.

Pho place would be nice. I'm still holding out hope for a Bay Cities type international market/deli place to go in where Blockbuster was.
Lots of other development I've noticed in the neighborhood: P. Gator's, Barcade, new coffee shop, Chipotle...exciting.

New coffee shop? Did I miss something?
Pho or ramen would be nice.

They seemed like cool guys at NE1 and genuinely interested in doing positive things in the neighborhood. I'm sorry to see them go.

Dear tbs, Deon Coles black box is the worst tv show ever. Though it is hosted by a black man, it'sRead More a show based on pointing fun and rude Racist jokes directed toward black people. If there was a white host it would be considered racist but because a black man was appointed to be host , you might have figured we wouldn't be offended but we are and I can't speak for all but I feel like resist jokes aren't ok regardless of who is telling them and I would like tbs to take down this show or atleast change the points in the show ! -signed, Kalil Stimpson

First of all, Bill, a funniest new comic in LA NOT being gay would be news. In addition, being aRead More comedian myself, I can tell you most gay comedians are not as bigoted as you suggest.
