Another family-friendly focus of the 2014 Highlander: the comprehensive safety features, starting with eight standard airbags and Toyota's Star Safety System. Available upgrades from Toyota dealers in Southern California include a Blind Spot Monitor and Rear Cross Traffic Alert. The interior is also home to Entune™ Audio, backup camera and Bluetooth connectivity. A thicker windshield and increased floor insulation deliver a quieter cabin.
