Kaiser Permanente Medical Offices Coming to NoHo

The new center will include a general family practice as well as a pharmacy.

Kaiser Permanente is preparing a 31,760-square-foot medical center for family care and other services at 5250 Lankershim Blvd.

The nonprofit health care provider signed a lease for the top two floors of the nine-story building in January and expects construction for the new offices to last through summer 2013.

Eighteen physicians and 60 employees overall will be on staff to oversee a family practice as well as divisions for internal medicine, obstetrics/gerontology and pediatrics, according to a press release from Kaiser.

A radiology lab and a pharmacy are also part of the plan.

In August, Kaiser held an event to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Panorama City Medical Center. At that event, Dennis Burton, the center's executive director, touched upon the new North Hollywood offices.
