Explore the cultural mythologies of Raven, Anansi the Spider, and Ryenard the Fox through masked performance. Using improvisation techniques students learn how to bring a masked character to life.  Students combine pantomime, stylized movement, and exaggerated characterization to discover the ways a mask can enhance, detract from, or balance the performance of character.  Instructors are qualified theatre professiols currently working on the Many Hats Theatre production of The Mischief Makers.  Each student gets a free ticket to the show.
