SFV Art Club Returns to Gallery 800 for Spring Show For the Love of Art.

The San Fernando Valley Art Club (SFVAC) returns to Gallery 800 (IATSE Local 800) in the historic Lankershim Arts Center for its 2013 Spring Juried Show For the Love of Art, opening Saturday, February 9 through March 2, 2013. SFVAC will host a reception on Saturday, February 9 from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm where the public will have the opportunity to meet the artists and preview their works. Show awards will also be presented at the reception. Gallery 800 is located at 5108 Lankershim Blvd., North Hollywood.  The regular gallery hours are Thursday through Saturday (2:00 pm to 8:00 pm) and Sunday (2:00 pm to 6:00 pm).

“Gallery 800 is a beautiful venue in a desirable location,” said SFVAC president Jennifer Bentson-Gebel emphasizing how pleased they were to be back at Gallery 800 for the show. “The Historic Lankershim Arts Center really supports the arts. As Valentine’s Day approaches, the talented artists participating in this exhibition are reminded of their love of art and look forward to sharing this work with the public.”

“We have so many talented artists in the club. The members create their best work to be included in the show,” said Ricardo Cerezo, event chairperson.

Following this exhibit, another will open on March 2 featuring an expanded presentation by eight SFVAC artists in a Collective Show. The show will run for two weeks and will close on March 14.
