Come join us for an stimulating evening!

This documentary tells the story of how the health care systems in Canada and the U.S. evolved to be so completely different, when at one point they were essentially the same. Learn how Canadians came to adopt their system and why they love it so much they consider it's champion their most beloved national figure.

We will screen the film and then enjoy a Q&A with two terrific, well informed people.

Georgia Brewer is the LA Regional Coordinator for the Campaign for a Healthy California (a coalition of organizations committed to winning universal healthcare in CA) and

Bruce Hector, M.D., a family physician, member of Physicians for a National Health Program and co-director of the San Fernando Valley chapter of Health Care for All.

They will be able to answer questions about the film itself, any questions about the Canadian system, other health care systems and the move to adopt a similar system here in CA.

BRING THE KIDS!

There will be free childcare supervised by trained staff

Hi! Yes, something is definitely happening there. I've stopped by a few times in hopes of bumpingRead More into the new owner but I haven't been so lucky. I've left my business card with a few construction workers but no one has gotten back to me so far. From what the workers told me, it's going to be a new restaurant. Those are all the details I have for now, but I'll keep you posted as soon as I found out more. Thanks!
ok thank you
