Love-Themed "7-Waves Shorts-n-Stuff" Film Festival To Premiere At North Hollywood's The Federal Bar

7-Waves Entertainment, led by
local Italian-American filmmaker, Leo Foti, will present the premiere
2014 “7-Waves Shorts-n-Stuff” Film Festival at The Federal Bar (5303
Lankershim Boulevard) on February 10, 2014, with a red carpet at 7:00
p.m. and the event running from 8-10 p.m.



The first bi-monthly festival will feature live acts and five
love-themed short films, including “The Maker” by Christopher Kezelos,
“All’s Fair” by Todd Strauss-Schulson, “Ruby and Martin Episode 1” by
Barry Gribble, “The Diner’s Club” by Ricky Lloyd George and “On Top” by
Sonia Gonzalez-Martinez. Live acts will include comedian Brett Riley,
dancers Liz Watts & Co., comedian Nate Jackson, poet Taj-Zsa Martin
and Ms. DJ HoneyBrown. The first-ever list of sponsors includes the NOHO
Arts District, Intercontinent Affordable Housing, Inc., Requiem Media
Productions LLC, DOMA Theatre Co., and Venture Hill Entertainment.



“7-Waves Shorts-n-Stuff” is produced in association with Tanjareen
Martin and Citric Cinema Inc. Chelsea O’Connor is Programmer of the film
aspect to the festival, which highlights the ongoing work of local
filmmakers, and which adds to the unification of the local community of
burgeoning artists, directors, performers and entertainment
professionals in a casual setting.



In 2014, 7-Waves will work in conjunction with “Behind The Mask,” a
non-profit organization with a mission to support the arts and media.
This first festival will also welcome, as a featured charity guest, the
non-profit organization My Friend’s House Foundation, which provides
outreach services to citizens of Los Angeles who are homeless, elderly
or who remain incarcerated, to collect donations.



The Federal Bar is located at 5303 Lankershim Boulevard in North
Hollywood. Red carpet begins at 7:00 p.m. with the first screening
scheduled promptly for 8 p.m. Admission is FREE, and guests must be 21
or older.
