New Photography Exhibit Debuts at the NoHo Senior Arts Colony Apartments

The NoHo Senior Arts Colony Apartments, a Los Angeles senior
apartment community centered around the arts, invites the public to enjoy a
special reception celebrating the opening of its latest photography exhibit
“The Wisdom of Wabi-Sabi,” from local photographer, Robin Hart, on Tuesday,
January 21 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

This free art event will give the public the opportunity to
meet the artist in person and discuss her works.

Hart’s exhibit at the NoHo Senior Arts Colony is based on
the concept of Wabi-Sabi, a Japanese art that focuses on finding the beauty in
imperfection.

The exhibition consists of various portrait pieces that Hart
has captured from 1973 until today. Rather than portraying professional models,
the photos feature real people of all ages, and focus on the beauty of each
person, despite traditional flaws.

Hart is a Los Angeles resident who worked in the
entertainment industry for more than 20 years, serving as a producer, editor
and writer for networks such as Discovery, The Learning Channel, PBS, Animal
Planet and The History Channel.
