Protect Our Children: Recreating Family Acceptance

The Village Family Services is proud to present the premiere of Protect Our Children: (Re)creating Family Acceptance in the San Fernando Valley, CA!

Protect Our Children: (Re)creating Family Acceptance will feature eighteen art pieces of Trans and Queer children through the lens of racial, gender, ethnic, religious, spiritual, and most importantly parental empowerment. All eighteen art pieces are based on real life childhood experiences and hopes seen through the eyes of Susana Cáceres, Marco Castro-Bojorquez, Fi Gonzalez, Jorge Gutierrez, Ellen Tanouye, Susannah Hong, Pau Lagarde, Tran Le, Isa Noyola, Karen Oliveto, Andrew Ojeda, Rhina Ramos, William Taylor, Cadence Valentine, Ronnie Veliz, Dean Welliver, Sammie Wills, and Steve Zamarripa.

This is a youth empowerment event. Everyone with their diverse and/or chosen families is welcome to attend and spread the word with #ReclaimPride posts and tweets.
