International actor/singer Phil Pritchard takes us on a journey from Sinatra’s early career, and examines the way Sinatra’s life and outlook, and as a result his voice, changed over the years. Each era is illustrated with the perfect smokey, Swinging tunes that sum up Sinatra best!

 

Come and hang out in the Sinatra Saloon, request a song, drink, have dinner, dance, or, just chill out while Phil and special guests (la’s hottest new up and coming jazz singers) entertain you, in vintage style!

VOCALS: PHIL PRITCHARD

 

Phil appeared recently in the show ‘BACKBEAT’ about the early days of the Beatles which transferred from the West End to The Ahmanson Theatre, Los Angeles via The Royal Alexandra Theatre, Toronto and has enjoyed a successful career in Theatre (incl shows such as To Kill A Mockingbird, Les Miserables, My Fair Lady & And Little Night Music (West End), as well as TV and Film. In 2014 he can be seen as Detective Raymond Davis in new TV series ‘TABLOID’ hosted by Jerry Springer.

 

KEYBOARDS: CHRIS GLIK

 

Chris has performed and/or recorded with many acts including Freddy Bell and the Bell Boys, The Okaysions, Platters, Inkspots, Coasters, Brook Benton, Frank Gorshin, The Jimmy Dorsey Orchestra, Glenn Miller Orchestra & Barbara Morrison. He has also arranged and/or composed music for Leonard Reed, Henry Nemo, Chester Whitmore, Lula Washington Dance Group, Helen Reddy, Chris Calloway, Nicholas Brothers, Warner Brothers, Columbia Talent Management, Paul Kennedy Dance Studio, Viewpoint School, and many others.

 

His Television/Film appearances include “Castle, Close To Home” – CBS “20 Great Years” – NBC Pilot “Desperate Housewives” “Boston Legal” “Two And A Half Men” and in Musical Theater Chris has perfomed in and/and or arranged music for many productions including As You Like It, Oliver, How To Succeed In Business Without Really Trying, Leader Of The Pack, West Side Story etc. In 2007, one of Chris’s collaborations, “As They Like It”, was produced at the Barnsdell Theater in Hollywood and 2010 saw the premiere of yet another new musical, “Whiskey Flats: How The West Was Fun” in New Bern, North Carolina.

 

DRUMS: STEVE PEMBERTON

 

Jazz drummer/percussionist Steve Pemberton’s international reputation has come about from his work with a hugely diverse group of artists. After graduating Berklee College of Music, Summa Cum Laude, he began twenty-three years of being on the road, performing, touring and recording with the likes of Mel Torme, Doc Severinsen, Grover Washington, Jr, Peter Nero, Johnny Mathis, Ray Charles, Maureen McGovern, Melissa Manchester, Peabo Bryson, The New York Voices, John Pizzarelli, the Quincy Jones Orchestra, John Williams, Sammy Cahn, Julie Styne, Jerry Hermann, Patti Austin, Linda Eder, Vince Gill, Amy Grant, Crystal Gayle, Bill Watrous, Tom Scott and Pete Christlieb.

 

Career highlights include four performances at the White House, five appearances in Carnegie Hall, a short stint at New York City’s Radio City Music Hall with Frank Sinatra and the Count Basie Orchestra, and can be heard on the 1998 Grammy Award winning CD, “Patti Page – Live at Carnegie Hall”. He has appeared with over 125 orchestras world-wide, including Chicago, San Francisco, Los Angeles, St. Louis, Atlanta, Pittsburgh and the National Symphony. He even spent three years associated with the Boston Pops Orchestra as a member of the percussion section. More recently he has worked with vocalists Vikki Carr, Shirley Jones and John Davidson, as well as two recently passed icons, Hollywood legend Mickey Rooney and Broadway composer Marvin Hamlisch.

 

BASS: MIKE FLICK

 

Mike was born in Las Vegas but grew up in the Bay area. He has played bass for over thirty years (also drums and pedal steel guitar) and appeared with the Jimmy Dorsey, Harry James, Glenn Miller and Buddy Childers big bands and among others has backed the Modernaires, Pied Pipers, Mills Bros, Four Aces, Bonnie Pointer, Kaye Ballard and Mickey Rooney.
