Los Angeles native Stephanie Spruill is a dynamic international entertainer extraordinaire, actress, author of “17 Points To Longevity In Show Business”, background singer, percussionist, celebrity vocal coach, artist developer, motivational speaker, and entrepreneur.

Stephanie Spruill is credited to hundreds of gold and platinum recordings. Stephanie has recorded and toured with artists’ from Julio Iglesias (with whom she toured the world for 5 1/2 years) Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey, Tina Turner, Simple Minds, Aretha Franklin, Barbra Streisand, Donna Summer (she was the background (bg) vocal arranger/contractor on Hot Stuff, Bad girls etc.), Diana Ross, Billy Idol, Simply Red, Luther Vandross, Donald Byrd, Talking Heads, Tom Petty to Michael Jackson (she was the vocal contractor/singer/choir director on “Can You Feel It”), Neil Diamond, Elton John, Chaka Khan, Placido Domingo, Irene Cara (she was the bg contractor/singer on Flashdance “What a Feeling”) Ricky Martin, Enrique Iglesias, Chaka Khan, Maurice White, Kenny Wayne-Sheppard, Gino Vanelli,( she was the bg vocal arranger/contractor on “I Just Wanna Stop”  Glen Campbell, Marc Bolan T-Rex, Olivia Newton-John, Sadau Watanabe, Yazawa, Juan Gabriel and Quincy Jones.  These are just a few of the artists who have benefited both from Stephanie’s vocal and percussion skills…and her expertise as a vocal arranger, either on stage or in the recording studio.  Stephanie was also signed to a recording contract with the great Clive Davis for Arista Records.

 

Having toured the 7 continents several times, Stephanie has performed before royalty around the globe. Including the Emperor of Japan, the King and Queen of Spain, the Queen of England at Royal Albert Hall and performances at the White House on several occasions for three different U.S. Presidents.

 

Several blockbuster movie soundtracks bear Ms. Spruill’s signature voice & acting including: Forrest Gump, What’s Love Got to Do with it, Amistad, The Breakfast Club, Dances With Wolves, Rosewood, 40 Year Old Virgin, Happy Feet, Inglorious Bastards, Cop Out and the classic film American Hot Wax…to name a few.  She also starred in a sitcom pilot, My Sisters and Me.   As an accomplished actress, Stephanie portrayed Josephine Baker in the off Broadway play “Sang Sista Sang”.  Stephanie has appeared in numerous commercials, films, and prime-time television shows worldwide. Stephanie Spruill, along with her Spruill House Music Choir, was a special guest on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno to rave reviews.

 

An accomplished songwriter, Stephanie has written hit songs for and with artists such as: Jeff Lorber, Najee, Vesta, David T. Walker, and Jon Lucien. Also, Stephanie wrote with Peitor Angell, the theme song for the Selma Hayek movie,” The Velocity of Gary.”

 

Stephanie founded Spruill House Music, Inc. School of Voice and Artist Development, along with her own Record label, La Pantera Records. Her latest Spanish language release is “Memoirs” and a music video called “Dejame”.

 

Stephanie Spruill’s talent, stellar reputation, and her professional capacity as an international performer and ability to coach and consult with integrity, is captured in her latest Book & DVD, “17 Points To Longevity In Show Business: Staying Focused On Your Vision”.  In addition, she has written magazine articles for Music Connection…the latest being “Is It Time To Reinvent Yourself”.

 

As a Keynote/Motivational speaker, Stephanie Spruill drives home the need for artists to be nurtured, understood and developed to their fullest potential.  Showing her commitment to fostering and strengthening the valuable attributes essential to success and longevity in Show Business.

 

Stephanie is a Celebrity/Performance Coach with students from all over the world. She has also held Master Classes in Moscow, Russia. Her teaching expertise has also spanned Japan, and South America among other countries.
