John C. Holland Jr., owner of Salon Di Jon for several decades in NoHo, passed away on Sept. 13, according to the Los Angeles Times.
He died peacefully at Olive View Medical Center, his obituary read. It's unclear what will happen to his business as this time. Calls to his shop at 10831 Magnolia Blvd. were not answered because the phone line has been disconnected.
Holland specialized in men and women's hair and also taught at Palace Beauty College.
A memorial service is being held at The North Hollywood Church of Religious Science on Oct. 3 at 7 p.m.
