Sheriff's homicide detectives have arrested two suspects in the death of a 31-year-old Tujunga man found with multiple gunshot wounds outside his truck in a Los Angeles Valley College parking lot, a lieutenant said Sunday.

"Investigators developed information that the shooting incident was the result of a drug deal 'rip off.' The choice of the college parking lot was random," said Lt. David Coleman of the Sheriff's Homicide Bureau.

The shooting occurred at about 7:30 p.m. Saturday in the Los Angeles Valley College parking lot in the 5800 block of Fulton Avenue in the Valley Glen area, according to Coleman.

The victim was identified as 31-year-old Ricardo Zetino of Tujunga, he said.

They found Zetino outside of his truck suffering from multiple gunshot wounds, and he was pronounced dead at a hospital, the lieutenant said.

"Information developed by investigators led them to an apartment in the City of San Jacinto in Riverside County, where both suspects were located and arrested without incident," Coleman said.

A investigators executed a search warrant at the residence and recovered two revolvers and other ballistic evidence," he said. "An undetermined amount of illegal drugs were also seized, as well as the suspects' vehicle, which is believed to have been used during the murder."

The suspects were identified as 31-year-old Raheen Taylor and 25-year- old Derrick Wilson. Both men were booked at the Inmate Reception Center and were being held without bail awaiting arraignment in Van Nuys Superior Court on Tuesday, January 28, Coleman said.
