A man believed to have been armed with a gun and suspected of assault was arrested on the 118 Freeway Tuesday morning after leading police on a pursuit that began in North Hollywood, NBC4 reports.
The pursuit started around 9:30 a.m. in the 6300 block of Colfax Avenue, according to NBC4. Los Angeles Police Department officers gave chase for 10-15 minutes until the suspect surrendered on the 118 Freeway in Pacoima, the channel reports.
He parked his vehicle, got out of the car and laid down on the ground before being taken into custody, according to NBC4.
